There are problems with the new version of FireFox (1.5.0.6) and how it handles certain sessions. People have not been able to login to certain sites and although I haven’t had problems with some systems like WordPress , Gallery will not let me in. I’ve been able to reproduce the error on 3 separate sites. phpMyAdmin is another application under which sessions do not work at all. It took me almost a whole day to figure out the latter…
So far the best work around I’ve found was to use Internet Explorer. After reading many forum entries I’ve seen many users that will not use Internet Explorer under any circumstance. I think that is a little harsh, but some users have made the decision to not use Microsoft’s software at all.
It has been 19 days since the Mozilla FireFox 1.5.0.6 was published and no fix has been provided yet.
Yeah, 3.0.10 has the same problems. No fix. Haven’t been able to duplicate the problem using any other browser. Only FF has the trouble (oh, and it’s spin-offs too).
